Bocconi Students for Sustainable Finance
WHO WE ARE
Bocconi Students for Sustainable Finance wants to be the first students’ association in Bocconi that deals with sustainability and finance at the same time. It wants to be the place where willing students can develop ideas and projects about a vital theme, that is gaining more and more attention from regulators, investors and companies in recent years.
OUR MISSION
At BSSF there are two fundamental principles: the desire to produce high quality professional content and to provide our members with valuable opportunities.
WHAT WE DO
BSSF has the main objective of promoting the theme of sustainable finance by developing ideas and projects. Our goal is to periodically create articles and reports. Furthermore, in order to develop such a sensitive topic, events with representatives and experts in this field cannot be missing.
ONGOING INITIATIVES
This Christmas the association joins the Treedom community, planting an Avocado Tree in Tanzania. The reason behind this decision is twofold. On one hand, it aims at showing BSSF commitment to a more sustainable planet. Secondly, it represents a wish for the association’s initiatives and projects to grow and be valuable.
A selected group of members will interview practitioners and academics, recording their contributions. A video of 2 to 3 minutes will be created to highlight the main concepts emerged during the discussion.
BSSF is active in the Start up world, focusing on high growth companies engaged in ESG projects. Our latest collaboration involves a newly funded entity whose innovative ideas contribute to make the shipping industry more sustainable.
